Welcome to dolop! The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to dolop LLC. We operate this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services to provide you with a curated shopping experience for custom 3D-printed lighting and household goods (the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to bring you beautifully crafted products made fresh in our San Diego workshop.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced herein (collectively, the "Terms"), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use our Services.

Please read these Terms carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, please do not use our Services.

ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least 19 years old (the age of majority in certain U.S. states) or, if younger, that you have parental consent to use the Services. If you allow minors under your supervision to use the Services, you are responsible for ensuring their compliance with these Terms.

To use our Services, including browsing or purchasing from our online store, you may be asked to provide personal information such as your email address, billing details, and shipping address. You warrant that this information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not sell, assign, or transfer your account to another party.

OUR PRODUCTS
Our products are custom-made in our San Diego workshop once you place your order. While we strive to display accurate representations of our products, variations in color or appearance may occur due to your device settings.

Because of our artisan production process, natural differences in texture and finish are to be expected and celebrated. These variations are not considered defects.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products, options, colors, or textures without prior notice and to limit product availability by region or customer.

ORDERS
By placing an order, you’re making an offer to purchase a custom product. dolop reserves the right to accept or decline any order at its discretion. We will typically confirm acceptance via email within two business days of payment. Once accepted, production begins, and cancellations may not be possible.

All purchases are subject to our Return & Refund Policy. U.S. returns include free return shipping; international returns (UK, Japan, Australia, Canada, South Korea) are the customer’s responsibility.

You agree to use our products for personal or household use only—not for resale or export.

PRICES AND BILLING
Prices are based on design, material, and customization. Pricing, discounts, and promotions may change at any time without notice. The price you pay will be confirmed during checkout and detailed in your order confirmation email.

Prices do not include taxes, shipping, customs, or import charges unless otherwise stated.

You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information. By purchasing, you confirm that you are authorized to use the provided payment method and that all charges incurred will be honored.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We ship to the United States, UK, Japan, Australia, Canada, and South Korea. Because each product is made to order, production typically takes 1–4 weeks before shipping.

We use USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL and may change carriers without notice. Shipping method and ETA will be noted during checkout.

Estimated transit times:

• U.S.: 2–5 business days

• International: 1–5 business days (depending on location)

Shipping fees:

• U.S.: Free (included in product price unless otherwise noted)

• Canada: $25 USD flat rate

• UK, Japan, Australia, South Korea: $50 USD flat rate

Expedited options (e.g., USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Express) may be available at checkout for an additional charge.

We are not liable for shipping delays or issues caused by carriers, customs, or events beyond our control. Title and risk pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

DIFFUSER REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
We offer an extended care program for broken diffusers:

• Year 1: 50% off the retail price of a replacement diffuser

• Year 2: 25% off the retail price

To initiate a replacement, contact support@bydolop.com with your order number and photos. U.S. customers receive a prepaid return label. International customers (UK, Japan, Canada, Australia, South Korea) are responsible for return shipping and will be charged another outbound shipping fee ($50 for UK/Japan/Australia/South Korea; $25 for Canada).

If the original diffuser color is discontinued, we offer 40% off a new lamp in Year 1 or 20% off in Year 2. This program applies only to diffusers, not lamp bases.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, trademarks, product names, and design elements on our website are owned by dolop LLC or our partners and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce or reuse our content without written permission. Customer-submitted customizations remain your property, but you grant us a license to use them to fulfill your order.

OPTIONAL TOOLS
We may offer third-party tools for customer use. These are provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties. Use them at your own risk and review third-party terms where applicable.

THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Services may contain links to third-party sites. We do not control or endorse them and are not liable for content, policies, or purchases made through these external sites.

RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
dolop is powered by Shopify. While Shopify hosts our store, all purchases are made directly with dolop LLC. Shopify is not responsible for your orders, products, or experience with us.

PRIVACY POLICY
Use of our Services is governed by our Privacy Policy, as well as Shopify’s privacy practices. Information shared with us may be transmitted internationally.

FEEDBACK
Any reviews, comments, or suggestions submitted to us may be used to improve our Services. You grant dolop a royalty-free, worldwide license to use your Feedback for marketing or development purposes. You remain responsible for ensuring that your Feedback does not violate others’ rights or laws.

ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
We reserve the right to correct errors or omissions and to cancel orders where necessary, even after submission, without prior notice.

PROHIBITED USES

• Distribute malware or spam

• Resell or commercialize any aspect of the Services

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.

We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, labor shortages, supply chain disruptions, or government actions.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Our products and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all implied warranties except as required by law or described in our Return & Refund Policy or Warranty Policy. Some jurisdictions may not allow these disclaimers.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, dolop LLCand our partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss resulting from use of our Services or products.

INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless dolop LLC, Shopify, and affiliated parties against any claims arising from your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.

SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remainder will still apply.

WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Failure to enforce any part of these Terms does not waive our right to do so later. These Terms and linked policies form the full agreement between you and dolop.

ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign them at our discretion.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by California and U.S. federal law. Disputes must be resolved in courts located in San Diego County, California.

CALIFORNIA CONSUMER NOTICES
California residents may contact the Department of Consumer Affairs at www.dca.ca.gov or (800) 952-5210 for concerns. Products may include chemicals subject to Proposition 65 warnings.
